MINERAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT

MINERAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT

Customer challenge

The products for which the Autodesk Inventor CAD tool was used were magnetic separators, heavy media drums, centrifuges, and sampler machines. For product development and design, Inventor comes in very handy to determine interferences and eliminate them using the tested and successful model for different sizes without much difficulty. The main advantages are in converting the concept into a design, reviewing the model, making necessary changes, and developing prototypes for testing. The biggest advantage is quality of work and time savings.

Project goals

MINERAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT had the following product development challenges: 1) Development of a completely new machine that will replace less efficient machines currently in use in mining applications. 2) Improving the design of the existing product line to enhance operation friendliness based on customer feedback. 3) Timely delivery of equipment modeling with accuracy and no interferences to seamlessly integrate with the manufacturing process.

Solution

MINERAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT had to develop an automatic hammer cross belt sampling system for coal from scratch. The cutter has a very complicated contour and is used for cutting a representative sample from material moving on a conveyor belt. The project was completed in the allotted time and the prototype built based on the manufacturing drawings produced from the model was spot on performed according to the design prediction. Other products recently developed were rotary sample divider (used in diamond processing), vezin samplers, and riffle-type splitters.

Business outcome

The new product developed was added to the product range of sampling systems and allowed the team to build systems that could effortlessly integrate with different belt widths. The product range was widened as a result of implementing CAD-based solutions for product development.

Conclusion

MINERAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT had a concept of the product that the market needed and assigned resources for the product development. Customers were identified who would benefit from the new product development and the concept of the technology was shared with these customers. The product development cycle was performed in concurrence with customer feedback. The process involved working closely customers. The product that eventually emerged following the design development invariably exceeded the customer's expectations. Needless to say, MINERAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT had a new product that could be confidently offered to the market.

Truck Measurement System and Sampling Collection System

With Prefect Hydraulics Pvt Ltd, the Application had challenges in Assembly and Integration. Aggregates from various Parties were used to make this Hydraulic System. The necessity was to have a mock assembly before we take up the actual assembly. Autodesk products helped us to visit and make a 3D drawing which helped us to visualize the Product Assembly and avoid last-minute surprises which could have cost dearly in the Project. We were able to carry out assembly and testing activities much faster and deliver the system on time.

KAAPPAAN [Tamil] [Feature Film]

KAAPPAAN is an action thriller film from 2019 in the Indian Tamil language. It was written and directed by K. V. Anand, co-written by Pattukkottai Prabakar, and produced by Lyca Productions. The Film was released in theatres on 20 September 2019 and emerged as a commercial success by grossing ₹100 crores at the box office. However, in the making, the film had presented Firefly Creative Studio with a challenge to capture and enliven the attack of a genetically altered locust swarm on village crops at a time when the farmers were preparing to reap the sow. Being centric to the action, it became vital for Firefly Creative Studio to capture the details of the insects in terms of looks, proportions and mechanics.
