Massachusetts Water Resource Authority Partners with MicroCAD to Bring Retrofit Design Services In-House
MWRA is a Massachusetts public authority establish to provide wholesale water and sewer services to 3.1 million people and over 5,500 large industrial users in 61 metro Boston. MWRA was seeking to expand their knowledge of industry trends and design technology workflows to improve internal efficiency and external partnerships with consultants. Additionally, they had an initiative to bring more retrofit designs projects in-house, and they needed support to gain the necessary technical expertise.
Realistic Visualizations Help Volvo Trucks to Optimize their Track Design
Volvo Trucks, New River Valley Plant, located in Dublin, VA, is one of the largest Volvo trucks manufacturing facilities in the world, and has an annual production capacity of more than 50,000 trucks. They were undergoing a massive expansion of their test track and needed help during the conceptual and design phases of this track. They came to MicroCAD for our input and help. The Volvo team wanted us to do some of the work, but they also wanted us to teach them for the future!
